Lahore engineering hub, serving Dubai & the UAE
Logistics Software DevelopmentDubai
10silicon provides logistics software development Dubai fleet operators, 3PLs and delivery companies use to replace WhatsApp groups, paper manifests and disconnected spreadsheets with one system. We build fleet tracking, dispatch, driver apps, proof of delivery and customer portals for businesses moving goods across Dubai, the Northern Emirates and the GCC, engineered by our senior team in Lahore and delivered in Gulf business hours.
Across 7+ years and 100+ projects, logistics has been one of our most frequent verticals because the economics are so clear: every minute a dispatcher spends phoning drivers and every failed delivery that needs a second attempt has a price. The platforms we build are measured against those numbers, not against feature lists.

What we build
Services for Dubai businesses
Fleet management app UAE
Live vehicle positions from GPS trackers or driver phones, trip history, fuel and maintenance logs, driver behaviour alerts and toll and fine tracking in one dashboard your operations team opens every morning.
Dispatch and route optimisation
Order intake from your website, ERP or marketplaces, automatic assignment to drivers based on zone, capacity and time window, and route sequencing that respects Dubai traffic patterns and delivery slots.
Driver apps
Android and iOS apps built in React Native or Flutter that work offline in warehouses and basements, with turn-by-turn navigation, task lists, cash collection and instant status updates.
Proof of delivery
Photo, signature, OTP and geotagged confirmation at the door, with failed-delivery reasons and automatic re-attempt scheduling, so disputes are settled with evidence rather than phone calls.
Customer tracking portals
Branded tracking pages and shipper portals with live ETAs, WhatsApp and SMS notifications, bulk order upload and invoice download, in Arabic and English.
Warehouse and ERP integration
Inbound, putaway, picking and dispatch flows connected to SAP, Oracle, Odoo or your existing ERP, plus connectors for Shopify, WooCommerce and marketplace order feeds.

How we work
Our 3-step process
- 1
Strategic Discovery
We map your goals, users, constraints and success metrics into a scoped plan with a fixed first milestone before any code is written.
- 2
Agile Engineering
Two-week sprints with a demo at the end of each one. You see working software, not status reports, and can change direction early.
- 3
Deployment & Growth
Production launch with monitoring, documentation and a growth plan: performance, SEO, analytics and a maintenance retainer if you want one.
Why it works
Logistics software development for Dubai operators, built in Lahore
Logistics platforms are never finished. Routes change, a new marketplace wants a different order format, a client asks for a custom tracking page, and the telematics vendor updates its API. That continuous change is where a Dubai agency's hourly rate hurts most, and where a distant offshore team that cannot join your 9 a.m. dispatch review fails. Our engineers are full-time staff in Lahore, one hour behind Gulf Standard Time, so your operations manager can report a problem at breakfast and see a fix on staging the same afternoon.
Pakistan has a large domestic logistics and ride-hailing sector, so our team has built dispatch engines, driver apps and tracking systems before and knows the edge cases: drivers with poor connectivity, cash on delivery reconciliation, and address data that does not fit neat forms. We do not have a Dubai office. We offer video consultation throughout the project and on-site consultation in Dubai for discovery workshops, warehouse walkthroughs and driver training at launch.
Agency vs offshore vs hybrid
Choosing a logistics partner: how the options compare
Rates are indicative 2026 market figures for senior work. The point is not the cheapest hour; it is senior engineers, full working-hours overlap and ownership of what you pay for.
| Criteria | Dubai agency | Offshore shop | 10silicon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indicative hourly rate | USD 60 - 120 | USD 15 - 35 | USD 25 - 45 |
| Working-hours overlap with GST | Full | Often 2 - 4 hours | Full (Lahore is GST minus 1) |
| Who you talk to | Account manager | Rotating contacts | Named engineer and project lead |
| Demos | Monthly or at milestones | Varies | Every two weeks on a staging URL |
| Code and accounts | Usually yours | Sometimes theirs | Always in your repos and cloud accounts |
| In-person meetings | At their office | Rare | Video any time; on-site in Dubai by arrangement |
| Arabic / RTL and UAE payments | Yes | Varies | Yes, standard on every build |
UAE-ready by default
Built for how business works in Dubai
Offshore teams often learn UAE requirements on your project. We treat them as standard scope, so Arabic, AED payments, VAT invoicing and data protection are designed in rather than bolted on.
- 01
Arabic & RTL interfaces
Bilingual English-Arabic layouts planned from the first wireframe, with right-to-left mirroring and Arabic typography that holds up on mobile.
- 02
UAE payment gateways
Integration with Network International, Telr, PayTabs, Stripe and bank gateways, plus Tabby and Tamara instalments and cash on delivery flows.
- 03
VAT and e-invoicing
FTA-compliant tax invoices with TRN, 5% VAT handling, credit notes and exports your accountant can reconcile.
- 04
Data protection by design
Built with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law in mind: consent records, access control, encryption and data residency in Gulf cloud regions when required.
- 05
Sector rules designed in
For fintech, healthcare and education builds we design for regulator expectations such as CBUAE, DHA and MOHAP requirements; compliance sign-off stays with your advisers.
- 06
WhatsApp-first customer flows
Click-to-chat, WhatsApp Business API notifications and lead capture, because that is how UAE customers actually get in touch.
Compliance sign-off for regulated sectors stays with your legal and regulatory advisers; we build to the requirements they specify.
Tracking
Fleet tracking with GPS and telematics
Live tracking can come from dedicated GPS trackers wired into the vehicle, from the driver app on a phone, or from both. Hardware trackers give you ignition status, speed, harsh braking and fuel data, and we integrate with the telematics providers common in the UAE through their APIs or raw device protocols. Phone-based tracking is cheaper and faster to roll out, and works well for last-mile fleets where the driver already carries a device. We help you choose, and we often combine the two: trackers on trucks, phones for bikes and vans.
The data is only useful if it drives decisions. We build geofence alerts for depot arrivals and departures, idle time reports, speed and route deviation flags, maintenance reminders triggered by mileage and a replay view for investigating complaints. Position data is stored in PostGIS so historical queries stay fast as your fleet and your history grow.
Last mile
Last-mile delivery apps for Dubai
Last-mile delivery in Dubai has its own shape: tower blocks with security desks, villa communities with gate passes, high cash on delivery rates, and customers who expect a WhatsApp message with a live link rather than a vague morning or afternoon slot. The driver app, dispatch console and customer tracking page we build are designed around those realities. Drivers see tasks in sequence, call or message customers from within the app without exposing their own number, collect cash or card at the door and record proof of delivery in seconds.
On the back end, orders flow in from your e-commerce store, ERP or marketplace integrations, get batched into routes automatically and are re-optimised when a driver is delayed or an order is cancelled. Cash collected in the field is reconciled against orders each evening so your finance team is not chasing drivers for shortfalls.
- Automatic batching and route sequencing with time windows and vehicle capacity
- Offline-first driver app that syncs when connectivity returns
- Masked calling and WhatsApp notifications with live tracking links
- Daily cash on delivery reconciliation and driver settlement reports
Approach
How we deliver logistics platforms
Every project follows our three-step process. Strategic Discovery starts in your operation: we map how orders arrive, how dispatchers assign them, how drivers work and where exceptions pile up, then produce a written scope, data model and milestone plan with a fixed price for the first release. Agile Engineering runs in two-week sprints with a demo on a staging environment each time, and we pilot with a handful of drivers before the whole fleet switches. Deployment & Growth covers the cutover, driver onboarding, monitoring and a retainer for the integrations and features that always follow.
Integrations are planned from the start rather than bolted on. Whether that is a SAP or Odoo ERP, Shopify and marketplace order feeds, a telematics provider, a payment gateway for cash on delivery alternatives, or a shipping aggregator, each connection gets proper error handling, retry queues and alerting, because a silent integration failure at 7 a.m. costs a day of deliveries.
